Thanks Packers. But not Metro-Detroit Cheesehead fans.
I wonder if there was ever a “Same Ole Chiefs” thing in KC. Obviously if there was it’s gotta be obsolete in the Reid/Mahomes era….right? I mean gotta be…
But I betcha there’s a boob somewhere in KC saying Reid should be fired bla bla bla cause Andy just went on 4th & 1 from his own 25 and didn’t get it and …….
I’m assuming you wrote this from the perspective of the Lions winning the division? Because I don’t think the math plays out the same for maximizing odds of making the playoffs at all
My gut is that the most realistic scenario is that we TCOB (hardly a given…) thereby arriving at game 17 with a chance to sneak in with a win. Plus, Packers are likely favored by nearly a TD in both Bears matchups, with those odds effectively leaving the Lions on very thin ice statistically. v. GB. So go packers.
I think it is tough to say because it depends on what they do in other games. If I had to choose I would root for the Bears because we get to play them again and will hold tie breakers IF we beat them twice. If the Bears beat the Packers twice, but lost to us and someone else (and we won out I know a lot) we would win the division.
A Pack — Bears tie might be the best thing for the Lions playoff chances. But it might also end up being the worst. It all depends on what happens in the remaining games for the Pack, Bears and Lions.

All I care about this week was that Indiana beat OSU (a fan of neither) and that Tampa Bay beats NO as I am still alive in my survivor pool.
So I guess the Chicago packers rooting guide is really for them to split, whoever wins this weekend we want to root against the next time

I would like to see a tie between the Pack and da Bears - in fact two ties!
