The Browns have started 11 different quarterbacks since they last played the Lions, with 40-year-old Joe Flacco the team's current choice under center.
I know the Lions love playing under center, but have they in the past used more shotgun against ferocious defensive lines that can get pressure rushing 4? I can't seem to remember them letting the defense dictate a change from a core Lions principle.
Theoretically, this should be a 45-13 blast-off. The Ravens scored 41, the Pack is way over-rated and Cincy played like Detroit did in their first game, rather lifeless. You cannot let Flacco beat you. The Lions need to go to work and be efficient and turnover free.
I had no idea there was a "Great Lakes Classic" trophy. It's not as hideous as the Land Grant Trophy, but it's up there. Why not let Minnesota, Green Bay, Chicago and Indianapolis contend for it, too? They're all on Great Lakes, and sharing it among more teams might ease the sting of winning it.
The Great Lakes Classic trophy is beautiful. It needs to be brought back and played for every preseason IMO
If Schwartz isn't carried out of the stadium again I'll be happy.

The Browns D is very good but their offense is a joke. This should be a lower scoring game. Lions win at home 24-6
Chumming the waters with that Za’Darius Smith throw in…
I expect a huge game from Hutch. Flacco is not mobile… at all.
Hopefully Lions will payback for the Guardians.
