Column: Pending departures set stage for Lions GM Holmes' critical and daunting offseason
Allen Park — Not since his first weeks on the job, when he fulfilled franchise quarterback Matthew Stafford’s trade request, has Detroit Lions general manager Brad Holmes faced such a turbulent offseason.
Things were admittedly simpler in 2021. Back then, Holmes was working with a blank canvas and low expectations.
