Allen Park — Welcome back to Week 6 of our 2027 NFL Draft Watch for the Detroit Lions, where we highlight three college prospects with televised matchups who overlap with the team’s projected needs for the upcoming offseason.
Let’s kick things off by looking at how the three players we highlighted last week performed in their matchups.
Kelley Jones, CB, Mississippi State
When you give up 56 points, no one on the defense had a good day. Jones wasn’t an exception in the Bulldogs’ loss to Alabama, giving up two explosive gains on three targets for 54 yards while also missing a tackle.
Greg Johnson, G, Minnesota
Starting at center for the second straight game, Johnson continued his strong start to the 2026 campaign in the Gophers’ win over Michigan. The versatile blocker didn’t allow a single quarterback pressure for the fifth consecutive week.
Jaylen McClain, S, Ohio State
