How much longer before official panic can set in?

Thinking on it, the combined 25 sacks from Adin and Al-Q didn't much save the defense. At this point, I don't know what will. If the last several Super Bowls have proven anything, it is that defense is more of a factor than high powered offenses (though they are more fun to watch).

We have Goff and the Seattles had what's his name. Somehow all that mattered was they had much more defense in the end.

Doesn’t a one-year deal indicate we probably didn’t offer him anything close money-wise?

I've spent the last couple of days making fun of Lions fans who had already concluded-by Tuesday in some cases- that the Lions were losing the free agent season. But I have to admit I'm feeling a little uneasy with all the departures and nothing much coming back yet. We don't have enough draft picks this year to fill the holes on this team. But, I'm making no conclusions and trusting the process for now.

I gotta be honest, I don’t think he was good last year. He had good games and then he’d go MIA for a couple weeks. I’m guessing in Tampa he will be a DPR and I wish him well but Detroit needs an every down DE. Someone teams have to respect, who will take some heat of Hutchinson

Brad clearly didn’t value him as much as some might have thought. Let’s hope we can generate some pass rush someway somehow this year. (Aidan clearly can’t do it all himself.)

While I think sacks are one of the most overrated stats, I would have thought he would have been worth more than $6 million. Surprised the Lions didn't offer him a little more to keep him around.

They will draft two then sign a vet after the 53 man roster cuts.

It's blatantly obvious at this point that BH does not feel edge rushers are an important component to a defense.
