DL is interesting combination. Mix of big dudes and small for DL guys Chris Smith and Wingo

None of the guys that were cut will amount to anything on a NFL team. People need to fking chill.

Funny thing about this, from the guy at the back of the class…is that while Tuesday brings its share of revelations, rhe real “aha” moments are what comes in the days immediately following?

Chris Smith is listed on this roster But is also listed as waived in the tracker article

Tough part is done. Now it’s time for Holmes to work his magic.

Wow so much over reaction… all the sudden the two guys who have turned around one thee most moribund sports franchises in history don’t know what they are doing???? Come on… just chill a little. I bet in 2 days it will all make sense.

Brian's avatar

I see your bet and raise you one day, although if I recall last year they had 52 guys for a few days before we knew the plan.

We have to be picking up 2 edge players and an OL player right?

Al Stahl's avatar

There are only two safeties on the roster.

Ryan Cochren's avatar

So 1 ok 1 de 1 safety, rock was getting work there so no need for 4

I had a bad feeling when I saw the thumbnail. Looks like I was right.

Light at edge. Zadarius smith signing coming?

Al Stahl's avatar

Does Maddox have any safety experience?

jpook730's avatar

Yep. He's S3, Rock plays S too

Hassanein is sickening...3 Edge defenders left when we burned through HOW many last year? Brad is NOT cooking on this one

It's year 5 of learning to expect the unexpected. Learning to be comfortable being uncomfortable. The results have not and do not lie.

He's not going anywhere.

When they do an injury settlement with them it is easier to control the return if you have an "understanding" with the player. And it doesn't cost an IR spot. Plus the player gets a little cash to line his pockets in the meantime.

R-E-L-A-X Brad got this.

Brian Mullins's avatar

Do you honestly think Brad doesn’t have a plan?

William Thomason III's avatar

Brad not cooking!? 😆 😆 😆

Brian's avatar

They literally left 3 spots open for cooking lol

John's avatar

Well wait a bit - they have 9 on the defensive line and several can move between dt and de (even hutch has lined up in dt spot).

Plus 3 roster spots to fill tells you something is in the works.

William Thomason III's avatar

Right!? He’s cooking right now…. This * is just impatient!!! And let’s not forget, other teams are making cuts too.

Patrick M's avatar

Hassanein is quite a shocker

I think that means they don't have to use one of the IR doors for him. That also means they can sign him back when healed. They don't have to use a sister spot for him.
