I’ve had so many injuries it’s hard to have one that I haven’t experienced. In 2019 I was injured in a fall and couldn’t move. It felt like my entire body was being electrified. They called mine a spinal concussion ( I already had spinal fusions in my neck and lumbar regions). After about the worst 4 hours of my life I was able to waggle my feet. Then my legs and eventually upper body came back last. I have a lot of confidence that Jack will get full control back. The oddest part of the rehab was guilt, why did I get up when so many others didn’t. My Son called it PTSB, I found an article online written by a gentleman that had similar experiences and his research found that guilt and depression is normal.

God, how awful and terrifying for him and his family to be fighting for movement. Hoping like hell he recovers fully.

Yikes, glad he's (mostly) OK but sounds like a potentially long road to full recovery.
