Does that mean he's employed by the shrine bowl or it's a volunteered position or he's coming in attached with a head coach. I'm confused because he says he's going right into coaching, but I'm not clear if he has a gig or just a short term thing.
Skipper was all kneecaps. I don't see Cowboys game was his signature moment, there were 2; one after Washington in 2022 and DC recognized him in locker room "hey skip, nice freaking job" and team chanted "Skip, Skip, Skip..."then obviously 2024 again "there you go Skip, keep throwing up, way to lay it on the line". Pity he was so obviously meant to be a red zone receiver, but he made his living as a lineman. What a role model for all.
Skipper was acknowledged as reporting eligible. That was the problem, he hadn't intended to. Decker was trying to report eligible but they acknowledged Skipper instead. It lead to Decker's 2-pt try catch being penalized as an ineligible receiver.
Skipper was the epitome to me of a Detroit athlete. Knock you down, get back up, repeat the process until you got your foot in the door. Hope they find a place for him on staff. You will have to search for a new ice bath buddy Justin!
SKIP IS MY COPILOT and maybe blocker or beer drinking buddy
Hey SKIP?!?! Great FREAKING JOB man!!!!
The guy played with heart. But that describes most of the team, something I don't think could be said about the Lions in the past few decades.
I got 99 problems but Skip ain’t one of them.
Where's he going to coach?
For now, the east-west shrine bowl. From there, wherever opportunity arises.

It's a volunteer position for the week. Think of it as a kind of job fair.
Thanks. Makes sense now why there aren't a lot of other details.
Glad you added the ice tub interview. I really think that should be a yearly thing. How about Manu this coming year?
Big respect for a man with big balls and heart, and guts for days.
Did he have enough games to earn a pension? I hope so. Seemed like he provided all he could with his limited talent.
We'll never forget ya, Danny Boy!

First it was Muhlbach, now Skipper, pretty soon all the cult heroes will be gone. There's always hope for Hatten, right? 😎
Still have Kennedy; maybe the most kneecap, Detroit vs Everybody, misfit island guy on the team.
Others always step up.

Love Tub Time, lol!

69 games for Skip, perfect!
