I love this man. I'm just irritated I waited until this Spring to engage this content. Thank you, Justin.
Regarding your commentary on the defense, I think better health is a direct path to material improvement. If Alim regains form and Kerb can stay in the field, I think you're better at two levels compared to last year.
Great bunch of answers Justin thanks. Re: Manu, I know you can't make a blanket rule about this but given Brad's draft mistakes with him and a couple others I'd be close to making my draft philosophy the Curt Cignetti one: production, not potential. And your answer on defense tracks with my big concern: it's not any better, and might be slightly worse than last year.
Holmes has drafted so well, questioning his draft philosophy is insane to me. He’s drafted better than almost any other front office since he’s taken over. The Manu pick looks like a bust at this point. I still trust Holmes 100%. His track record speaks for itself.
I get what you are saying but Manu was a 4th rounder…. If he ends up being even a decent backup left tackle that is a good pick. The bar is pretty low for fourth rounders..
Thank you Justin. Last year I heard Campbell say something about trying Manu at guard, but that was it. I think it would be interesting to see, and perhaps a way to get him some actual snaps, especially in short yardage. Thoughts?

The Lions are pretty deep at guard. He'd never find his way through the noise.
