Just going to throw out the possibility that the Lions might have back to back international games since the Falcons host the Lions this year and will also host an international game.
We all knew this was coming! …….. i would love to see the lions take a group of kids from Detroit on that trip!!! That would be an amazing experience for them……
I'm actually surprised the NFL did this to us in a season where we have 9 home games. It's actually the fair thing to do ... that way we still have 8 legit home games and 8 away games. Hopefully w/ the St. Brown connection the German fan's will turn it into Ford Field Germany!

How are the teams treated financially here? Is this an NFL game or a Detroit Lions home game? Does the host team get the gate receipts?

"Additionally, star receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown is the son of a German mother."
Big, if true.
Saint speaks German
Why do you say: "if true". It has been widely reported.

I think, except for Jacksonville, they make an effort to alternate years depending which conference has the extra home game.
So does this blow a home game from our schedule?
Do we know yet if the Lions will be the “home” team (which would be great for Amon-Ra)?
Lions are the host. I think that’s the home team
We thinking it’ll be that first or second Sunday in November like it has been all of the last 4 seasons?
Last year’s game in Berlin was Sunday 9 Nov. Year before that in Munich was Sunday 10 Nov.
So an informed guess would be Sunday, 8 November 2026 @ 15.30 CET (9.30 in Detroit). But that’s just a guess.
You would think the league schedule makers would do everything possible to avoid a time-related conflict with the Thanksgiving game. But….
Anyone thinking about going? I’ve been saving up the points in anticipation of this, have to go
I’m planning on going. Seems like it’ll be Nov 8 or 15, I’m curious if we’ll know the date prior to the schedule release?
