Players with fewer than three accrued seasons under an expiring contract at the end of a season are exclusive rights free agents. Has nothing to do with being drafted or undrafted. It does tend to UDFA and low-round picks more frequently because they're most likely to get cut by their original team.
It's hard for me to imagine BroMart not being cut or traded after the Lions draft a NT at or near #102. I hope the light comes on for him in preseason and Brad has some really tough decisions to make in late August.

No. There's zero reason to do that. He's under team control for two more seasons.

Justin, do you think they could move Lopez back to a 3 Tech while Alim is out? Is that why they haven't seemed to backfill there?
