Allen Park — Late Tuesday evening, after it was reported the Detroit Lions had hosted edge defender D.J. Wonnum for a visit during the day, the sides reached an agreement on a one-year deal worth up to $6 million.

The social media reaction came rapid fire, ranging from the predictable, “Who?” to declaratives from the fringes of the optimism-pessimism spectrum, with both sides viewing it as a classic Brad Holmes’ signing.

Of course, how many of us have watched Wonnum play? Sure, you might have faded memories from his four years in the division with the Vikings, but what do you really remember?
