What's the deal with Rakestraw? Still unplayable in year 3 or another injury?

Hard to see a path towards actually contending for a Super Bowl. Maybe sneaking into the playoffs before being fed into the wood chipper.

“● Goff completed 26 of 38 passes for 327 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions.” waiting for the first moron to blame the QB, at what point do the Lions injuries not be chalked up as bad luck and rather something else? Both the OL and DEF are affected by too many injuries… again. FA signings with leftover funds after resignings have not filled the void, unfortunately the cap makes it difficult to overcome the shortcomings of this current lineup & am praying that when IR players are able to return that it will give the boost needed to be competitive within the division - but it’s hard not to fear that the window is closing.

Buffalo is in the playoff hunt. Are we? Defense, cap space, faster two minute offense and penalties all need to be addressed. How we bounce back will tell the story of the season.

Abysmal defense. We got schooled. They were nowhere near the ball on so many of those plays. Huge gaps for Cook, tons of space for receivers. Blitzing didn’t work. Allen is an alien, but this was embarrassing. It’s gonna be a loooong 10 days

How many times can you watch Allen literally run up the backs of Detroit's secondary before you wonder what kind of coaching they received? The Lions had no plan for Allen, just hopes.

Good account Justin.

It is indeed mockery to suggest that the Lions have even an adequate defense to compete at a championship level in the NFL.

The Lions showed fight in the 2nd half but they just do not have the parts beyond Hutchinson and Campbell. And that Offensive Line was abysmal in Buffalo. Borom is awful.

I do think think our offense did really well CONSIDERING we were down 3 starting o-lineman. I've seen teams with better o-line health do much worse.

Defense though... Woof. The few positive defense plays they had were almost shocking -it was such a rarity

John Morton was fired for a lot less.

Pitiful display of defense. Worst I've seen in years.

This team has made a point of hiring ex-players for its coaching staff, but right now I'd rather have some grizzled old mad scientist who has proven that he can scheme and game plan.
