Maybe I'm just finally at that stage in my life where... I don't really care about it affects the Lions. Yes, I'm disappointed, want to win the SB, etc. but I'm really just sad for him. Don't know anything I haven't read and those dudes probably did steal from him and he probably did have some influence in the vigilante stuff, and crimes should be punished but... Dang, what a waste of a future and it just makes my heart/head hurt for another human, for what could've been.
WTF? Why would anyone over the age of 15 leave any amount of cash just lying around in a hotel room? The man is toast. He'll plea bargain, but what NFL team is going yo let this guy anywhere near their training facility?
Let’s be honest, it always seemed like a stretch that after Arnold believed that three people had stolen 200k of just his stuff, a bunch of his friends took it upon themselves to kidnap and beat them, while never even mentioning it to him. Surely he at least knew, though the allegations that he evidently coordinated the whole thing are troubling.
Did he do it or not, he still put himself in an uncompromising position…he seems like he is a ‘great guy’ in the surface, but this is a very troubling turn of events…what did and how long did the Lions know about this? I get keeping information close to the vest but this is disturbing and disappointing for his teammates and us fans. I hope it works out for the young man and hope he grows up quick.
From a football aspect; losing Arnold is not an a big issue. He is a PI machine and has 1 INT in 2 years. And in a way this saves Lions from spending money on him. We got hungry guys ready to step up. As they say, next man up.
