Allen Park — Here are some notes and observations from the Detroit Lions’ Sunday morning training camp practice.

● Daily participation report: Still no Isiah Pacheco (knee), Jacob Saylors (ankle), Cade Mays (wrist), Damone Clark, Jimmy Rolder (hamstring), Mekhi Wingo (head) or Payton Turner (back).

Joining them on the sideline, all with unknown ailments, were wide receiver Jameson Williams, cornerback Nick Whiteside and defensive tackle Myles Adams.

With Whiteside, I did see him come up limping after an individual rep on Saturday, reaching for the back of his leg, but he stayed in, so I didn’t get the sense it was serious.

Detroit also waived/injured two players on Sunday, cutting ties with safety Loren Strickland and running back Kye Robichaux. Both suffered injuries in the preseason opener, with Strickland pulling up lame in pursuit of a ball carrier and Robichaux suffering a broken bone in his foot.

If they go unclaimed off waivers by Monday afternoon, they’ll revert to Detroit’s roster and be placed on injured reserve.

To backfill those spots, the Lions signed running back Trayveon Williams and cornerback Ekow Boye-Doe.

Williams, who went undrafted out of Texas A&M in 2019, has appeared in 75 NFL games, mostly with Cincinnati. He’s logged most of his work on special teams, but here’s a fun stat: He’s averaged more yards per carry, 4.8, than per game, 4.6, during his career.

The Ghanaian-born Boye-Doe has spent time the Chiefs, Giants, Cardinals and Defenders of the UFL, since going undrafted out of Kansas State in 2023. The speedy defender appeared in six regular season games and one postseason contest for the Super Bowl-winning Chiefs in 2023.

● The Lions tweaked two starting rotations on Sunday as they seek short-term solutions to bridge a trio of key absences.
