Down a member of the “collective” this week, Will Burchfield, Colton Pouncy and I break down the Detroit Lions’ upcoming roster decisions and create a collaborative 53-man roster.
Did you cave on not keeping 7 WRs and cutting Lovett in the end? Or are you waffling on the decision of 7WRs?....glad you brought up Wingo in the end, I was doubting the omission.
This wasn't me; this was a three-vote system. Also, since I kept seven on Sunday, two players returned from injury I had not previously anticipated, eliminating significant flexibility.
What I like about this other than yourself and Pouncy being on the podcast together is...there is no yelling. Getting tired of all these shouty shows and emotional outbursts over what seem to be minor issues. Now you guys may agree a bit too much during this video but there are the caveat points of yeah I can see the lions doing this. I also think since you guys are doing a prediction of what the lions are going to do it lends itself to more agreement because it isn't necessarily what you think the best move is.
I've always said, I'm not cut out for radio. I can't fake emotion, nor do I have interest. I don't move through the world that way, and certainly don't carry myself professionally in that manner. It's probably why I've gravitated to Colton and Will as people, as much as colleagues. Logic > emotion. Reason and facts > opinion.
Great listen!
