'Lions Collective': Reacting to Dan Campbell's roster comments and joint practice with the Texans
The podcast is supposed to be a weekly thing, airing live on YouTube every Wednesday at 6 p.m. However, the Detroit Lions conducted a joint practice with the Houston Texans on Thursday, and we didn’t want to let that fall by the wayside, given next week’s conversation is certain to be dominated by the establishment of the team’s 53-man roster.
So if you’ll indulge me, Colton Pouncy and Will Burchfield for this bonus episode of the “Lions Collective,” we’d appreciate it.
In the truncated conversation, we apologize to cornerback Khalil Dorsey for forgetting to put him on the roster with our group projection a day earlier, talk about some of coach Dan Campbell’s comments earlier in the day regarding some impending personnel decisions, re-evaluate Graham Glasgow’s importance after leaving practice with an injury — severity TBD — and share some of our key observations from Thursday’s practice with the Texans.
Enjoy.
