Unless the Lions get to the big dance in February (where all will be forgiven), I see three areas of major concern heading into the 2026 draft. The OL, DL and now the secondary. With so many huge contracts sucking up payroll, the Lions may find themselves a bit limited...especially in the next few years.
It's kind of a curse to have several great players, pay them the big bucks, and then they aren't performing so well or not even available to play. How do the Lions ever get over this hump?
Luck? That is something quite foreign to this operation unless it is the bad kind.
The hard part as a fan is wanting to know more about player's injuries (like how did Levi tear ACL, how bad are LaPorta and Kerby's injuries), but as a human, knowing that all that is private information and not for us to know unless the player wants to let us in.
It does suck, but Kerb has 7+ months until training camp. Let's give him this time to research treatment options and do some healing. Don't jump to conclusions; he will tell us what he can and cannot do.
Not exactly…HIPPA governs healthcare providers. This is probably more of a CBA thing…regarding player privacy. Teams tell us specifics about certain injuries like torn ACL’s or Achilles, but seem to hold other injuries closer to the vest.
If you mean restocking the Cupboard with talent, I don’t that’s ever a bad thing.
If you mean it’s the end of either starter’s career, then I would sa don’t jump too far ahead of yourself. All we really know is that neither of them are coming back THIS season, perhaps the beginning of next season for BB.
I tried buying a crystal ball, but they all seem to be out of stock. Maybe you have a line on a better supply?

Luck like the Bears have had this year and the Chiefs had last year would be nice to have for a change…cause luck can’t be placed on IR lol

It's a brutal game.
Part of it was the bone bruise, but the other details of it are really up to him

I probably know the answer to this, but are we ever going to get a clear explanation of what’s going on with his knee??
HIPPA

Probably not. This feels like the NHL's elusive "lower body injury"
Lions are going to need 2 new safeties next season

This sucks. He’s cooked.
Only time will tell.
I would consult my crystal ball, but I can’t seem to find it. 🙂
For this season anyway.
Don’t expect him to be reliable at all moving forward. Sigh.
Smart move with Kerby Joseph. Glad to see Mahogany back.
