Dude who breaks his own bones is if nothing else a culture fit.

He runs like he bites people.

And I love it.

Does anyone (@Justin) know if he’d potentially cost the lions a compensatory FA signing draft pick?

No upgrade here, fine, still very nice short term grab for the D. He can really help in short yardage situations, blocks well, punchy style. We can go deeper in the draft now for an RB, another plus. He’s a quality addition. If we sign Cam Jordan Justin will have a trifecta in the prediction markets!

I guess 2/3 of a Monty is better than zero. I do not yet see any upgrades from what we lost.

Solid addition to spell Gibbs when needed.

This is a good addition as is the O-line depth. We can round things out in the draft. As someone else said, let's focus on the D while there's still some good folks left.

Does he eat carrots?

Sorry, man. Gonna have to change your handle to Isiah Pacheco’s Ribeye.

Souls, based on some highlights.

This is another signing that says you’re punting the 26 season. Brad is putting together a one score loss team.

another signing? what are the other signings? off season just started. btw, why would the team and brad want to punt the season with a top 5 roster when healthy? please explain

We always go for it....aren't you watching the games?

Sigh. Wrong.

I respectfully disagree.

More than serviceable in a secondary role, and perhaps it’s a sneaky good signing if he gets closer to his old self with another year (of limited carries to avoid much wear and tear) under his belt.

I like this. Pacheco will be good. But he's not David Montgomery.

I don't see us getting better. I see players leaving.

I guess we have to wait until the new year officially begins on Weds afternoon, but I'm now wondering...are we in retool mode? Or is this a more serious rebuild underway and this is a 'filler' year?

I'm waiting to see what happens. But I'm seeing us get worse on paper than last year's 9-8 team.

The offensive line, if improved will help this offense a lot! D can improve with newer faces- possibly

We're only "worse" if you measure better or worse literally one day at a time

Ehhhhhhhhhh.......it all depends on the o-line. Our o-line was bad last year. We have an upgrade at center, ratledge was good last year but not great. But he can get better.

Mahogany and Frazier are both good LG options. LT (or RT depending on where Sewell goes) is obviously the big question mark but I can't imagine the position isn't addressed in some respect in the draft. We have a chance to have a better o line and running game scheme than we had last year, which could in turn mean Gibbs gets let loose.

We might yet draft a RB but

My initial instinct is that this could be a better pickup than it seems on the outset. Gibbs is THE guy and if the o-line is better.....
