Curious if the 8:00 pick actually worked against the network coverage. I know there was a very long commercial break before the TB pick where the next pick or two were already being posted on Twitter while we had to keep waiting during the TV broadcast to see it, even though the graphic said “the pick is in” for a very long time.

Lions collective mock took freeling not miller

Why?

I don't expect Holmes would ever say, but I wonder where Freeling sat on their board compared to Miller.

Clearly, Miller was higher since both were available. And, reading between the lines, they seem to have had Miller above Proctor as well. (In an alternate universe, I wish Proctor was also still available @ #17 so Brad could prove the theory.)

Yeah, I have a feeling they probably had Miller ranked as the second highest tackle prospect behind Mauigoa. Fano maybe, though I guess I wasn't the biggest Fano fan.

I took Friday off as I usually do to watch the draft in my time zone. Sipping my coffee, with NFL Network on the TV and the Yahoo crew on my tablet, I was hoping for Miller and I too felt they would get him as soon as the Rams took a QB (apparently the Rams don't believe in windows either). Miller is too damn gritty for the Lions to pass up.

Looking for gritty Jacas or a trade back if he's already taken on day 2.

Day 3 is mostly during my night time, so it's always a surprise waking up on Sunday. BPA all the way.

Miller is from Strongsville, Ohio. You can’t make this stuff up.

I'm in Australia ... sounds like you're in a similar time zone?

Few hours behind you in Taiwan.
