Roster makeup is a challenge for every team at this time of the season. DBs have not been a Lions strength in recent times. Durable good players are hard to find. Time will sort out the teams .
I doubt we use a nickle much on Sunday night because of all the DB injuries. We will use 3 LBs on most snaps and Anzalone will drop into coverage a lot. I think we will be OK as long as Branch and Kerby can play S with Amik and Ya-Sin at CB.
Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the end of the season for Manu. With a limited number of players available to come off of IR, he’d probably be a low priority to activity compared to a few others already on IR and whoever may get added in the future.
