Decker will be able to return to practice as soon as he's cleared, but Onwuzurike will need to miss at least the first four games of the regular season, based on his designation.
If Ragnow didn't start at Center as a Rookie, and he was a high level center in college. Why does most in media expects Ratledge to start at center as a rookie, when he has really never played the position. Wouldn't it make more sense to follow the Ragnow path of playing guard in rookie year and then move to center in year two, once he formalized himself with the league and the offense?
It's easy to get caught up in roster projections and worry about how a team will fit all its talented players, especially early in the season. However, injuries are an inevitable part of football. By the time final roster cuts are made, there's almost always plenty of room for good players who have stayed healthy. So, don't overthink the early-season depth charts – the landscape will likely change dramatically.
Sorry, can't like this. The writing is excellent. but the subject matter cannot be liked.
Just when did the Lions know about Levi, did they know before the draft, maybe the OTAs before the draft, that's why they have them pre-draft.
Decker is a little concerning, Manu better get ready quick. At this point I am not worried that Decker makes the 1st game, but it sure makes me feel less sure about the rest of the season.
Injuries always loom over any roster plan. Levi may have a serious condition that means his days on the team might be over. Maybe Martin or Wingo steps in somewhere on the DL to fill that vacancy??
It doesn't hurt, but there isn't much overlap with McNeill/Onwuzurike roles and what Martin does. If anything, they might ask Lopez to do some different stuff, necessitating extra nose tackle depth.
I know nothing of Levi O's current issue, but I had one back fusion and when I had to have another I was told the 2nd one is very common.

Could give roster life to Myles Adams.

(sigh) I hate training camp.

Hello, Tyleik Williams. Welcome to the starting lineup.
Sure feels that way. O'Connor and Lopez get a bump, too.
And a glimmer of hope for Bromart.

Did you get a chance to chat with any of the team?
The building is not open to the media until Sunday.
