Probably doesn't mean anything but Morton was the Senior Offensive Asst with the Raiders when they developed a WR into a TE, Darren Waller. Waller is bigger than Meeks but hey, it's something I guess.

LaPorta was playing great this season. Seems the Lions get a practice injury between every few games. The good news is the Lions have plenty of players on offense.

This didn't happen in practice. He didn't practice following the game.

Wright catches my eye more often for his ole blocking. This could hurt if he is relied upon more.

Well, if Brock's going out to run more routes, he won't be asked to block as much. So there's that. Or maybe they change what kind of blocks he's being asked to take on.

Personally, more 3 WRs seems likely. Maybe more RBs out in routes too & more Skipper in-line with the big personnel grouping. But I'm not Dan & I can't even play him on tv.

Skipper as a receiver was no joke

Awful to lose Sam, but Wright is a very good player with, I think, some untapped offensive skills. Brad has always valued him highly, and maybe even overpaid for him slightly last year (3 years, 12 Mil). Right now, I’m glad he did.

Not exactly the roster we were all hoping for to engage the Eagles with this week. Oh well, play hard guys...

Losing LaPorta is bad. Guy was an all-pro chain-moving machine for Goff. At least he'll be back for the playoffs, assuming we get there.
