I don't think anyone has ever questioned and Ennis's ability. He had some history of soft tissue injuries in college and all of his issues last year were soft tissue as well. Hoping that the nutritional, medical, and sports science staff have worked with him to strengthen his vulnerable areas. Players in the secondary get hurt, it's part of the landscape. If he's healthy, he's going to get some defensive snaps this year.

Justin, there was mention of Manu before OTA. Now, seems like radio silence. What’s your take on his ability to contribute / have impact?

Loved him in the draft last year and was thrilled they drafted him.

In the end I think he is more a middle of the field player but this gets him plenty of work for now. What will be interesting is next year, will they bring back Amik.

In the early mocks last year, Rake was a widely mentioned FIRST round option for the Lions. I was thrilled when we got both him and TA. This will be exciting to watch.

Hope he stays healthy and gets reps to prove he is a DB starter ... or not.

Thanks for helping me out of the Ragnow sinkhole. There's no r, g, n, o, or w in team anymore, and developing players and even rookies can twist fortunes in any which way. Our O line took a hit but our DB room will take up some of that slack. Yeehaw!!
