The team placed offensive tackle Justin Herron, offensive lineman Colby Sorsdal and tight end Kenny Yeboah on injured reserve, while also waiving running back Jabari Small with an injury designation.
With less than 4 weeks of training camp, two more games and a few joint practices, I expect there will be many more bodies shuffled through the injury/replacement revolving door. Are other teams suffering this many injuries?
justin, great work, volume, intelligence and timeliness. you lap your competition in every catagory and your are more than worth the price of admission. pod beside erik is noise, colton is good but selective and radio silent at times, the others not worth mentioning. look forward to another great season and love your podcasts as well.
I feel like this is where Brad Holmes makes some of his most incredible signings. They’re pro player scouting has been fantastic. And they don’t waste time seeing if they can make someone fit… If it’s not working they just cut bait
Justin I’m rusty on the injured reserve rules. Players going on in reserve now are literally done for the year is that right? Unless they get released with a settlement?

No injury settlement for Rake, does that mean anything yet?
They're not cutting Rakestraw.

Correct.
Welcome to Detroit Zach Horton. Got a feeling this will be a long run as the FB/TE/HB they have been looking for.
Pretty smart strategy for the lions to be hitting up the UFL players at this point in the offseason, I wonder if other teams are doing the same.
Wonder no more. https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/ufl-nfl-pipeline-tracking-every-ufl-player-signed-2025-nfl-roster
Sweet thanks!
