Justin, I don’t believe Moore was in your day 2 “fits” article. Do you feel he was not the best pick the Lions could have made?

Now all the SOL fans will complain we didn't get the right edge rusher with this pick. Sounds like he is solid with the run and the pass.

Wonnum plays the run, Moore in blitz situations

Like both these picks so much. Lions are filling out nicely.

Brad is a little too free and easy with giving up mid-round picks IMO.

Don't you think he may have jumped the Ravens so that this guys former DC would not draft him?

I think if Moore was the guy they wanted then making sure Minter did not get him a late round pick where everything after 100 is pretty much the same level of player it was a good move.

People have been saying that some of the UDFA's this year will be about the same skill level as some of the 4th and 5th round picks...you can kind of see this as teams were jumping up to grab Tight Ends that were projected to go in the 160's but start going in the 50's.

Look at the consensus board for Nate Boerkircher and Marlin Klein...

Just a smart move again by BH. Go get your guys.

He seems like the perfect guy to spell Hutch.

Now if they can grab M Reiger to bring into the fold to complete the room.

It worked out quite well the last time Brad picked an edge from Michigan!!

A guy decent at rushing but not at run defense is not where I thought the lions would go ha ha

It will likely take most, if not all, this season before he’s truly ready for consistent playing time.

Plenty of time for most of the needed change to show up. An extra 15 pounds of muscle weight would be helpful too.

hopefully he can be coached to protect the run

I mean, Brad traded up for an edge... Who are we to tell him which edge to take.
