Love the Chicks Dig the Long Ball reference! Seeing Heather Locklear and her casual beauty really takes me back to my youth! Thanks for the memories!
Why don’t the Lions employ more hurry-up offense to affect the defense and catch them off-guard? Is the Lions playbook so vast that it doesn’t lend itself to those concepts?
Just said in a thread that he has made a major leap now he is competing with the 2's instead of losing to the 3's and 4's. Still not a starter but the jump in talent is obvious to everyone and he just needs to focus on consistency.
I wonder if it might be useful to do a film review of the Raiders' 98 offense, since Morton and Shaw both had their hands in it. Might be hard to find film that old though.
Exciting stuff to read. One flying under the radar is our left guard. He is physical. We will see good guard play this year. Both are strong and eager to prove themselves.
I’m curious how Goff has looked so far in camp - there haven’t been as many rave reviews on his sharpness this year as there have been the past few. Is this a product of the beat becoming desensitized to his consistent play, or have there been some bumps?
What percentage of coordinators usually call plays from the booth? Does it impact the feel/culture around the game not having him right there?
What did Patrick mean by, “It’s just not something I was accustomed to in my years of playing."?
Is he referring to the physicality of camp? Is it more so than most camps? Wonder if that leads to more injuries or breaking down by end of season.
I am excited for the 2 back sets. I've wanted them to do that so bad the past two seasons.

Because their defense was going two years ago and decimated by injury last year. If hurry-up falters, you put your defense in a bad position.
How is Manu doing? I don't think anyone is expecting him to play significant snaps this season but would love to know how he's progressing!

Check out The 2023 Detroit Lions Complete Offensive Manual by Bobby Peters.
That was the year Morton helped Ben create the offense. It’s as good a look at what to expect as I have found.
2022 ya?
Yes, eye kant tipe wele

Another great article, Justin!!

He wrote how Goff is doing in the post yesterday!
