Justin, you do a lot of improvement or decline analysis on the Lions roster every year with lots of factors considered. That takes a lot of time to do. Maybe all of it can be removed if you reference the fact of Kennedy's being part of the team as the key indicator for each season record improvement or regression.
It’s not wise to double down on your theory of a Kerby Joseph retirement when the HC and GM both state that he is coming back and the only question is timing.
Frankly, I think you’d be on more solid ground by speculating on his future durability and/or his availability.
For my part, I recognize that hope (for his future durability/availability) is not an adequate plan, but lacking a crystal ball, either side of that coin is just an opinion.
Ohhhhhhh nice to hear Rolder was active again. Unfortunate his off-season development was slowed but let's go!
Also
Not to make light of what is personally very difficult for Kerby (tbf my back injury has set back my whole life and sometimes I feel like a cripple old man at 33 so I get it to a degree) but it is mildly amusing that whenever anyone asks about Kerby Dan sort of just acknowledges that he exists within the boundaries of the material world.

Tom Kennedy MVP season incoming!!
Let’s git it Senator!!
If there were a pool on Joseph's knee, I'd take degenerative arthritis.
I believe it is cheaper to keep him rather then cut him at this time.
Sorry to sound like a broken record, but unfortunately I don't see him ever taking the field again in a Lions uniform.

Does ever again. mean week 5? Because I’m confident we will see him then.

*set me back the rest of my life*
Nice catch, Andrew!
Well before he wasn't there at all...he left for a bit so him being back and getting ramped up is a change.
I believe the first official injury report is due tomorrow
I legitimately have no idea why I wrote Monday other than I have no sense of what day of week it is this time of year. Every day is workday.
