Hire new secondary receiving defense coaches now, please.

Those coaches have a track record of doing great work here and other locations. During those coaches will only make it worse.

The problem is execution and talent…or rather the lack of enough of it.

Like the Lions of old: Penalties at the most crucial times and a front 8 D that is getting manhandled.

So sad. We look like a team that is happy to be there but not ready to take the next step. And this was very sad to type.

Everyone will focus on the D, which was shredded tonight by a mid QB and mid RB. But our OL played almost as poorly. We’ve been basking in the potential of our newly formed front five (with justice), but tonight they were unable to give Goff enough time to complete a winning number of throws to a stable of highly qualified receivers… or give the best RB in the NFL enough room to run through a Panthers injured and depleted DL. I’m very worried about the admin of this team as exemplified by the performance of our disorganized group of highly talented players.

I’m worried about the Vikings game now.

I think Dan gets caught up in the personal connection which causes him to overlook flaws. He did it with Morton and possibly with Shep.

Lynn, Morton and now Shep. When does Campbell get questioned about hiring coordinators?

You also forgot Johnson and Glenn. Wait, those are two head coaches that don't fit your narrative, sorry bub.

So 2 out of 5 is good now? Keep drinking the Kool aid.

I only drink the finest of Kool-Aid for maximum pretense and entitlement.

As for coordinators, you seem to forget the DC has a history of mid-season corrections when he feels the time is right. He’s earned that privilege from his boss(es).

You don’t have to agree with it, but then again we don’t have to agree with you either. The difference is we (specifically, I) don’t insult you while doing it.

I would say 40% is a pretty good percentage of having coordinators hired as head coaches. Am I happy with the defense? No. Do I think Shep is in over his head? Yes, with a caveat. He doesn't have the players to run his system. Is that his fault? No, it's BH fault. He misread the TA situation and was more worried about re-signing Gibbs and Campbell than signing top talent to the CB room to compensate. Am I drinking the Kool aid? Obviously not. Your premise sir, was about coordinators, not the team. Be accurate.

Lions D is hot garbage. Not use how they fix that. 8-9 incoming
