The separation between the top Super Bowl contenders this year is so thin that the last team standing will be the one that maintains the most healthy starters. For the Lions to seize this opportunity, they need to prioritize immediate, significant upgrades.

The team should go against its usual caution and explore trading future assets—specifically next year's first, second, and third-round picks, and potentially a wide receiver—to address the current needs in the defensive back room and pass rush.

This aggressive move could be the key to a Super Bowl win this year, and I'd gladly accept a couple of future down years if they manage to pull it off.

Just read Josh Grizzard's coaching bio on Wikipedia. He was in Miami as an offensive quality control coach working alongside Ben Johnson during the Gase regime in 2017 and 2018.
