The Lions have officially finished last in the NFC North and will correspondingly play a last-place schedule in 2026. Here are those opponents.
The Vikings victory allowed the Lions to play to win (and finish with a winning record) yet still get that 4th place schedule. Thank you, Vikings.
What a cream puff schedule. Next year may be the best opportunity to get into the playoffs...I did not say anything about the Big Bowl in Feb 2027.
Too early to schedule a DFN meet up in Munich?
13-4 next year !
Prediction: New England Patriots vs Detroit Lions in Munich as their extra "home" game
I like this idea. They have to get one of the few German speaking players to play in Germany. It's stupid if they don't.
The Lions also have some exclusive Germany marketing deal through the league. There’s almost no chance they aren’t playing there next year.
People in the org are less certain than you. There seems to be a lot of thought that they could end up in Brazil. I'd say the feeling is 70/30 Germany.
Interesting, what would the point of all the international marketing deals if your “home” game overseas wasn’t in your “market?”
