The NFL’s negotiating window for pending free agents opens on March 9, and players will be eligible to sign with new teams on March 11 at 4 p.m.
I always thought they would use Vaki as a punt or kickoff return guy.
The problem with bringing in a new WR, it takes goff 3/4 of a season to gain trust throwing to them.
Vaki probably could fit into the mix as one of the two kickoff guys, although he hasn't been able to grab that role in two seasons. He's not sudden enough to handle punts.
My preference is that they re-sign Lief but bringing in Ford-Wheaton as well is intriguing.
