The defense forced three turnovers, the offense went three-for-three in the red zone, and Kalif Raymond scored on a long punt return to seal the victory.
I’m not the first to ask…but is it time to welcome CJ Garder-Johnson back to the D. I know he played nickel-outside and Safety for AG with the Saints. He’s… eccentric but he can ball.
I think it was before a game in the 2023 playoffs that Dan Campbell made a point of telling the team to curb the extracurricular stuff and focus on playing. CJGJ did exactly the opposite and got a flag. That seemed to mark the end of his stint with the Lions. Campbell wants players he can depend upon, who don't put themselves above the team. CJ is not that guy.
I feel pretty confident that's not happening. He's a locker room issue who wears out his welcome everywhere he goes. Lions don't want any of that smoke.
Hard to complain about a 24 point win. Dominant, though? Not really. No long drives, at all. Run was never really established all day. Loads of mental mistakes and some costly penalties. A ridiculous INT from Goff. And Jamo... his head seemed not in the game at all today. Browns had a great chance at 20-10 late in the third to make it a game. Two horrible dropped passes. Cleveland has some talent - Judkins looks very good - but that's a bottom five offense in the league. Good job overall by the D, though, agreed. "Deion" was solid LOL. And a gold star for Special Teams, of course. I'm nitpicking, but I''m sure the coaches will be, too.
Think Vilma actually nailed explaining the Goff interception on the broadcast: he misread the defense thinking the player on the right was going to follow the under route
The hamstring injury unfortunately looked serious for DJ. Hoping it's not as bad as it looked, and they can get him back this year. CB's look rough without him. Wishing the best for Terrion, too. Had higher hopes for him this year, but he's not made the leap most were predicting.
I know it’s a priority to establish the run, but there were opportunities missed to push the ball downfield earlier. Also, who is available as a CB to sign? We are looking thin
Can't ever have enough CBs on the roster.
Good game overall by the Lions. But there were 2 or 3 dropped passes by the Browns that would have made life harder if caught.
They can't afford to not start trawling the CB trade market...
Just like last year "Next man up"

There is another…..
Emmanuel Moseley
*ducks and runs for cover
Quite possibly the oddest cat to play the game since Charles Haley retired 😂
Bears just ran the ugliest Stumblebum you'll ever see.

Myles Garrett is a bad man I thrilled they won’t have to face him again for a long time.
Maybe only one more time in 4 years when he will be 33 years old. Probably still good, but maybe not this good
