You do a great job Justin. And I'm here precisely because you're not regurgitating content and padding material. You give your audience credit for some basic knowledge and you don't know how much that's appreciated - And you can take a vacation and we'll understand.

(And hey, what about AI? Is it coming? Is it here? Do you care? lol)

I do not use AI. Every once in a while, I'll test it, just to see how it's evolving. For example, I asked for the top edge rushers available to a list I use. The list was garbage, full of a bunch of guys who signed weeks or months ago. Going to continue to trust my own work and resources.

And Justin - Do you keep in touch with Kyle Meinke? I wonder what he's up to. Sure do miss him at MLive.

I do not. Haven't heard from him since he left.

CB is the hardest position to play in the NFL, and you'll never convince me otherwise. QBs, by comparison, have virtually every rule in the NFL designed to help them succeed. Arnold has been put in an incredibly tough position.

Physically, I agree. Mentally, I'm not sure if put it in the top half.

Don’t you think the 5th year option guys are the perfect options for them? They could trade for them know and then flip them again in the offseason and recoup some value back

No, because they're not in position to take on $15 million guaranteed.

Justin--I read a lot about the Lions and your content is the best. It's not easy to produce high quality content every day. Keep up the good work!

Justin - our seats were behind the Lions bench near the DLine at the Chicago game - one of the D line coaches was in Williams grill during the second half yelling walked away and came back to yell at him more twice. Were there any comments from coaches about him after that game? Seemed unusual.

Nothing negative. It's not unusual for players to be coached hard. Making a mistake on a gap isn't unusual for a rookie, and meriting criticism, but there was overall praise for the performance. Body of work matters more than a moment.

We do appreciate the work you do, Justin. We wouldn't be here otherwise. I know for me personally, when I point out a spelling error, it's done tongue in cheek. Please view it as teasing a friend, not a criticism. We are a community here.

I don't have an issue with people pointing out errors. I hold myself to high standards. I was referencing how daunting it was as a young reporter to not have the traditional safety net of an editor. It was a wild professional upbringing.

When I do it, it’s a personal attack at your character.
