why was such a "good" LB available? didn't any other team want him?

To those complaining about injuries in training camp, please get a second team to follow, it’ll provide you valuable context. For comparison my Birds had 5 players injured yesterday (none a roster lock but chance in chance).

Justin am I wrong and thinking Devin white and Barnes are similar type of players

Here’s another downside to this, the as if we needed one. I’ve read Rolders skill set offered an option of playing him as an LB and as a hybrid nickel bc of his size and speed (if I have that right). Also, the coaching staff had plans of using that option in certain novel game scripts. Perhaps White is up to that usage, too (I don’t know). But I hate for Rolder to lose significant rookie time he can never get back, especially if it included niche value.

I don’t hate this. I mean, I hate it for Rolder but that’s not a bad backfill

I feel like I remember Devin White being an elite prospect, with major injury concerns. Much like Nakobe Dean frankly. Seems like a low risk upside play.

Man, injuries and this team are brutal

And yet, someone almost always has it worse. Panthers already lost a starting edge and third-round rookie WR for the year. Ricky Pearsal is done for the year. Falcons have been down their top two QBs. Bryan Breese, down for the year. Just the nature of the game.

true but our defense led the league last year in adjusted games lost.
