Joe Schmidt would be proud.

holmes and d. campbell know what players they want each draft and find ways to get them. the draft "experts" love to grade drafts on players selected relative to their amateur uninformed draft boards. this sells advertising but more often they are wrong. focusing on the results is all that matters and the lions are very good at identifying talent that fits their culture and know when to select them. justin, you are one the few level headed journalists that understand this and we appreciate your analysis.

This team has so many men that are incredibly easy to root for. Good for Jack, good for us and GO LIONS.

His interview today washed all the garbage, NIL fueled athletes, and prima Donna professionals out of my mouth. Great article too, Justin! It captured the moment.

He's a throwback. Once upon a time Detroit had great linebackers. Campbell is reminding me of Joe Schmidt. Just a hard-nosed presence always in the middle of the scrum.

Agree and I watched Schmidt play and Bednarek for the Eagles

i still get a kick out of him having to get plastic surgery after his lip split open last year and his comments on how out of character it was for someone from his background. can't imagine a lot of people get much work done on their faces in cedar falls, iowa

I imagine they do. Higher than national avg education level, low cost of living, avg income, very low crime.

Enjoyed this even though I saw the press conference live. You give it the nice perspective it needs. (If that makes sense).
