Very happy with this. A capable QB, a team player, even a vet helping others. Feeling very comfortable with this selection—extremely glad he was available.

95% of a backup's job is serving as an extra set of eyes for the starter during the week of preparation. Late-round draft picks are experiments. Experienced veterans bring quiet value.
